Teal is the awareness color of ovarian cancer. Women of Teal is a play on the words "Man of Steel" used to describe Superman. I have found my fellow ovarian cancer survivors to be the strongest, most helpful women in the world. They are truly Women of Teal!

International Bowl Game Toronto Jan 5, 2008
We made the trip to Toronto to watch Rutgers play in the International Bowl. The 8 hour drive up was uneventful but cold - the temps dropping to 5 degrees on the way up. The Westin Harbour Castle was beautiful and the view from our room of Lake Ontario was incredible.
The game, held at the Rogers Centre was fun. Rutger won 52-30 over Ball state. Ray Rice had an incredible day with over 250 yards, 4 touchdowns and an 90 yard touchdown run. Wow!My niece and her husband joined us for the weekend as did our friends and fellow season ticketholders the Tankiewiczs and Bobals. We ate dinner one night at an Irish pub. It was a nice way to end the 2007 RU football season and a fun was to start 2008.
( I am still learning the ins and outs of this blog so here is a photo addition to the posting.)
