On June 1, 2008 I was awarded the Spirit of Courage Award by the Central NJ Wellness Community. Since I was in Texas, Matt accepted the award for me.
It is a truly beautiful glass award featuring a lighthouse. This photo that I took does not do it justice.
My thanks again to everyone at the Wellness Community of Central NJ. They have helped me navigate my way through my cancer journey and have given me support and advice on how to advocate for others with cancer.
