Teal is the awareness color of ovarian cancer. Women of Teal is a play on the words "Man of Steel" used to describe Superman. I have found my fellow ovarian cancer survivors to be the strongest, most helpful women in the world. They are truly Women of Teal!

Petition to End Ovarian Cancer Drug Shortages
In the past few months I have written about chemotherapy drug shortages. I personally know three women whose chemo has been changed or delayed because of the doxil shortage.
Just imagine getting a cancer diagnosis and learning that the drug that could eliminate the cancer is unavailable.
Please go to this petition site sponsored by OCNA and sign the petition. I did!
Hi Dee, It's me, Andrea (Cancer by 2). Indeed, the chemotherapy drugs shortage is an outrage and they have no excuse for not resolving this problem faster. Good luck with the petition and hope things get back in track, with life saving drugs like Doxil being made available for all in need, as fast as possible. It's a shame that is happening, let's end it!
